B2B for WooCommerce adds wholesale selling to a new or an existing retail store: customer groups with their own prices, quantity tiers, business registration with approval, quotes, tax exemptions, a prepaid balance, XML feeds for retailers, a REST API and a one-page wholesale order form. This two-minute video shows every feature; the notes below explain each one and how to switch it on.
Business registration and account approval (0:10)
Business customers register with Company, VAT / Tax ID, Phone and a message, either on the normal WooCommerce registration form or with the dedicated B2B Registration Form block. You choose which fields are required. With Approval required, new business accounts wait as Pending until you activate them (see 0:18), and Block login while pending keeps them out until then. The customer gets an Account approved or Account rejected email, both editable in WooCommerce.
Groups and product pricing (0:27)
Each customer group has a discount off retail, for example 20% for Wholesale. On a product’s B2B tab you can override it with a fixed price per group, quantity tiers, a minimum quantity or a pack size. Discounts can apply to the regular price or to the sale price, and the retail price can be shown struck through next to the B2B price.
Prices only for approved buyers (0:40)
Prices visible to can be everyone, logged-in customers or approved B2B customers only; hidden prices show your own text, such as “Log in for prices”. Shop access can be limited the same way, and single products can be marked B2B only or Retail only.
Wholesale order form and quotes (0:49)
The Wholesale Order Form block gives buyers one page to filter the catalogue, type quantities and add everything to the cart at once. With quotes (0:59), business customers can use Add to quote on products or turn the whole cart into a quote request, and you set how many days a sent quote stays valid.
Prepaid balance, EU VAT and integrations (1:11)
- Prepaid balance for trade accounts.
- EU VAT (VIES) (1:21): VAT numbers are checked against the European Commission VIES service, and validated businesses from another EU country can be made tax exempt automatically.
- XML feeds and REST API (1:30) so your retailers can pull your catalogue and prices.
- Modules (1:41): every feature is a module under WooCommerce > Settings > B2B. A module only hooks into WooCommerce while it is switched on.
Quick start in four steps
- Go to B2B > Groups and set the Wholesale group’s Discount off retail, for example 20.
- Go to B2B > Customers and click Activate next to each business customer, or add one.
- Add the Wholesale Order Form block to a page.
- Optionally open a product and use its B2B tab for a fixed group price, quantity tiers, a minimum quantity or a pack size.
